Dear Friends,

My internet is very spotty this morning so I'll make this update quick & sweet, so that I can get it posted.

I am cautiously optimistic, as the old saying goes, about my sweet kitty Goldie.  I've either been up all night, the last two nights, or have set my alarm for every 2 hours in order to give her a heaping teaspoon of canned food.  She's on the appetite stimulant so I want to make sure food is available to her when she's hungry....and hard kibble is difficult for her to eat with the stitches still in her mouth from the oral surgery.

My Goldie has always been a HUGE fan of water but now, she's hardly drinking it which is so strange.  Please pray for her for that, could you?  Water is so important for her aging kidneys.

The house is quiet, which is how it must be, and I'm exhausted but determined to do all I can for my little furry family member.  "Into every life a little rain must fall" is what my dear Mama used to say.  I keep telling Goldie that....and myself too.

I can't answer comments but I read each & every one.  Thank you from the bottom of my tired ole heart.
