Happy Wednesday to all....

Things are back to normal once again in my household.  My sweet kitty Goldie had a good checkup with the vet yesterday morning & when the vet called yesterday afternoon, to report how Goldie's bloodwork came out, she said that all the readings were back where they should be.  So we can let out the collective breath we've been holding for a week.  :-)

Thank you sooooo much, once again, for all your prayers, good vibes, and healing wishes.  It means so much to be able to rely on others for those things, when we ourselves are having a hard time praying.  You all mean so much to me!

Remember that little black kitty we rescued, who was 24-48 hours away from death due to dehydration, starvation, and worms?  The one my rescue friend named 'Andrea'?  Well, my friend sent me a picture of little Andrea yesterday & I want to share it with you.  In these hard times in our country & world, we all need a little cheer and I'm hoping this picture cheers you all as much as it did me.  She looks *nothing* like she did a mere 10 days ago.  What a difference good care makes!

I finished a diamond painting project this morning and now hubby will build a simple frame for me, which I'm thinking I will paint powder blue.  It's a "partial" diamond painting which means not every inch of the project is covered in diamonds (called "drills" in the diamond art world)... as opposed to a "full" diamond painting where every inch of the canvas is covered by a drill.  Partials are really quick to do & are good starter projects for those who have never diamond painted before.  I'm thinking this will be so cute to hang up around Christmas time.

I had kind of fallen away from crafting for a couple weeks so I found this kit in my stash yesterday morning, in  hopes that it would "wet my whistle", as my Mom used to say, to get back into the groove of things.  It did.  Now I've got a rug hooking project on my table.  :-)
