Happy Father's Day to all the men who are...or have ever been...a dad to anything, human or animal.
And Happy Father's Day to all the women who have to fill the father role for the loved ones in their life.
Doing anything special today? Since the sun is unexpectedly shining and the temperature is forecast to be in the low 80s*F, I think we'll put some pork steaks on the grill. Corn on the cob, some boiled potatoes, and a pineapple upside down cake (for hubby & youngest daughter, who can eat it). My "treat" for today will be a glass of white zinfandel while sitting in my lawn chair, in the fresh air.
Whatever you do today...and whomever you honor or choose not to honor...I wish for you a gentle breeze, a cold glass of your favorite beverage, and a day that brings you peace.

DeleteHi Andrea....We took my husband and son-in-law out for brunch this morning...Sam has been able to eat eggs well, with his liver condition, so I thought it might be best to do lunch rather than lunch. Corn on the cob and upside down pineapple sounds very good right now. Enjoy the fresh air...
