I'm having a bit of a problem with my new computer staying connected to the internet.  That's why I didn't visit any of your neighborhoods yesterday.  I'd get connected & within a minute or two I wouldn't be connected anymore.  So I just gave up...ain't got no patience for that stuff, don'tcha know! :-D

I think it's our wireless router.  It's an older one & has been zapped, I suspect, many times by sudden power outages during storms.  We should probably get a new one but I don't want to.  A new one would be more powerful & the rays coming out of it would be stronger....and....well....I just don't want that.

I believe with all my heart that the tremendous increases in cancers (& other maladies) are due to the wireless rays of the internet & moreso from cell phones.  Study after study after study after study has been done, by scientists all over the globe, showing a direct link between these rays & all sorts of cancers plus other problems.  I remember when "upgraded" 5G towers were going up all over the United States much faster than the original towers ever did.  Scientists were screaming about it.  One of their main complaints was that enough research wasn't conducted, to see if the increased 5G radiation was going to be harmful (as harmful as the scientists suspected it was going to be), on humans and the environment in general.

But as with all things... all things... ALL THINGS... money rules.  Profit is the bottom line & the welfare of the planet and everything that lives on it be damned.  The cell tower manufacturers don't care, the internet companies & phone companies don't care, the cell phone manufacturers don't care, no one that stands to profit one dime from 5G technology cares one bit.

The only thing that seems to be getting manufactured more than cell towers, internet routers, and cell phones is.... cancer treatment centers.  Have you noticed how FAST those things are going up all over?!

Our wireless router is turned off for most of the day & all of the night.  I turn it on in the mornings so I can check my email & visit with all of you.  Then I shut it off (actually there's two boxes I shut off...one is the router & another has something to do with the internet so I shut that one off as well).  Then it gets turned back on for an hour or two in the evenings & is shut off again until the next day.

I know a new router will be much stronger than this old nellie one and in my view, this old nellie is bad enough.  So I'll keep putting up with the connection problems.  It's ok.  Along with the connection problems I get peace of mind.

Much love to all of you, Andrea xoxo

5G technology, while offering numerous benefits, presents potential environmental concerns, particularly regarding wildlife and resource consumption. Studies suggest that higher frequencies used in 5G, especially millimeter wave (mmWave) technology, could negatively impact insects and birds due to increased absorption of radiation and potential interference with their navigational systems. Furthermore, the increased energy consumption and resource demands for 5G infrastructure raise sustainability concerns.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Impacts on Wildlife:
Resource Consumption and Sustainability:
  • Increased Energy Consumption:
5G infrastructure, including small cell towers, requires significant energy for operation, potentially increasing the overall carbon footprint.
  • Mining and Waste:
The production of 5G technology involves mining rare minerals and generates electronic waste, contributing to environmental degradation.
  • Need for Decarbonization:
To mitigate the environmental impact of 5G, it's crucial to decarbonize the electrical system powering the network.
Other Environmental Concerns:
  • Ecosystem Impacts:
Changes in insect behavior and potential impacts on bird migration could disrupt entire ecosystems.
  • Data Traffic and Carbon Emissions:
Increased data traffic generated by 5G is likely to contribute to higher carbon emissions.
  • Space Debris:
The proliferation of 5G satellites in low Earth orbit raises concerns about space debris.
Addressing the Concerns:

  1. I'm sorry you're having issues. But what you said rings true. All this wireless stuff can't be good for us.

  2. No doubt that there is much danger to us humans from all of this wireless stuff. I have a friend who never uses a microwave or will never have her phone plugged in near her night stand where she sleeps. Hopefully your issues will resolve themselves and it will be better than ever.

  4. Sorry to hear about your internet issues. Technology is moving ahead at alarming rates and you're right about them not caring about the impact it has to humans or the planet.
